Using standard GSM mobile handsets, users can make and receive phone calls, and send and receive text messages just the same as if they are on the land. Phone calls will be charged to the users home network operator (such as Orange or Vodafone) and end users can expect to at the rate of approximately £1.25 ($2.20 or €1.80) per minute. Through our roaming partner, GSM services are available to mobile phone subscribers from over 210 GSM networks worldwide. Pre-paid SIM cards are also available offering reduced calling rates. The OceanFone solution results in a small unobtrusive installation below decks.
